MONTREAL, CANADA: In preparation for the second meeting of the Open-ended Ad Hoc Intergovernmental Committee for the Nagoya Protocol on access and benefit-sharing, to be held in April 2012, in Delhi, India, the Secretariat of the Convention on Biological Diversity (CBD) has circulated the final versions of questionnaires to facilitate the submission of views and information on: domestic needs and priorities for capacity building and development in support of the implementation of the Nagoya Protocol; and proposed elements of a strategic framework for capacity building and development under the Nagoya Protocol. Parties, indigenous and local communities and relevant stakeholders are invited to fill out both questionnaires no later than 15 November 2011.
