WIPO Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore : Thirteenth Session

The WIPO Intergovernmental Committee on Intellectual Property and Genetic Resources, Traditional Knowledge and Folklore is considering the protection of traditional knowledge (TK), and traditional cultural expressions/expressions of folklore (TCEs) through three related and complementary processes:

  1. consideration of an agreed List of Issues concerning the protection of TK and TCEs;
  2. consideration of a draft set of “Revised Objectives and Principles for the Protection of Traditional Cultural Expressions” and “Revised Objectives and Principles for the Protection of Traditional Knowledge” (“Objectives and Principles”); and
  3. a draft gap analysis on the protection of TK and TCEs.
